Providing welcoming hospitality since 2007 to our guests, at Brandkop the emphasis is on all the right things:  efficient down-to-earth comfort with thoughtful touches of hospitality and country charm. Discover a place where time stands still and the horizon is defined by the vast expanses of the Hantam Karoo – an unspoiled part of the Northern Cape where the encounter with nature is unforgettable.

Brandkop Farm is the perfect destination for families and groups of friends traveling together, promising a truly relaxing experience in an unhurried environment – somewhere to unwind, sleep deeply and be yourself You are encouraged to slow down, switch off, relax and breathe in the air. 

This is also an ideal family destination.  Here you have space - there are farm animals to meet and places to run free aplenty, and the guests book brims with children’s drawings and comments of approval. Our young guests often join in on farm activities,  helping Jana and Anneli to feed the lambs and chickens. 

There is so much to do here:  mountain-biking, bird-watching or hiking to the quiver tree forest;  or if you’re lazy you might just prefer to read a good book outside and let nature come to you. That’s the daytime covered.  As for the night, there’s only one place to be… stargazing from your stoep into the extraordinarily dark, pollution-free sky.

Brandkop Guest Farm merits a stay of at least two nights to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area and simply to pamper yourself.
