We have thoroughly enjoyed our many visits to Brandkop:
Initially camping (10/10 experience, wonderfully serene). Then we returned for a weekend in the wonderful self-catering houses (another 10/10).
We loved it so much that we returned to have our wedding reception at Brandkop (after getting married in the beautiful Nieuwoudtville Church)!
Elizna, Pieter, and the family are incredible. We were enthralled by their charm and style and good-old-fashioned hospitality. The venue turned out so much better than our wildest dreams could have predicted. The food is amazing - really really amazing.
And they managed to make us feel incredibly special with an absolutely perfect wedding. Truly, not one thing went wrong, and they made it feel effortless throughout the entire process.
The beauty and warmth of Brandkop and the hosts will make it impossible for you not to return once you've experienced it once!

Spent 2 nights camping and wad very happy great people and clean rest rooms.

The Hosts of Brandkop Guest farm are excellently helpful and accommodating. The house yields endless opportunity for any kind of traveler to rest their heads. Every kind of amenity you may need and some more are available. With indoor fireplaces and braai facilities it promises to be a cozy hide away for the winter.

Had a wonderfull stay. Wil definitely go back.
