Brandkop Guest Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a working farm near the town of Nieuwoudtville. The farm is set on the circle route that runs from the waterfall, to the quiver tree forest and the wildflower reserve, and then back to Nieuwoudtville.
No Eskom electricity, Solar lighting only.
Gas water heaters, stoves and fridge/freezers.
Linen and towels are supplied.
Borehole water used on farm.
Please use water sparingly.
Please provide own drinking water.
Pre-packed braai packs (lamb & boerewors) can be ordered in advance.
Farmstyle buffet dinner available during August & September, please book at reception.
Braai grid is provided; Firewood available at reception.
All our units have indoor braai/fireplaces as well as outdoor braai facilities.
Your unit will be available from 15h00 on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10h00 the day of departure.
Rates for the Farmhouse are quoted per unit, and will remain unchanged, even if the number of guests is less than initially booked.
Please inform us if you will be arriving later than 18h00.
You are about to enter a “waste-free” area.
Please help us to dispose of garbage in an ecological-friendly way.
All cans and glass must please be taken home.
Food-scraps can be left in the bucket provided for the farm animals.
Paper-waste will be burned in an incinerator and can be left in the bins provided.
Existing garbage dumps will be rehabilitated and not used again.

The following conditions are necessary to ensure the well-being of our valued guests. By paying your deposit, you agree with the following terms and conditions, and we assume that you and the party traveling with you have read it.
Your reservation is only confirmed once we have received 50 % of the booking value. Refunding deposits is done at the sole discretion of the owner of Brandkop Guest Farm, and only once we are able to fill your date.
The following will not be the basis of any refunds of accommodation fees:
2.1 Inclement weather which is inevitable during the course of the year, this may affect your stay, especially during flower season.
2.2 Timing of your reservation made:
During high season (Aug & Sept) there will be many factors influencing the display of flowers on our farm and in the area, which may include (but is not limited to): the amount of winter rains received; timing of winter rains; hot berg wind conditions; droughts, temperatures etc. Unfortunately we cannot in advance predict and/or guarantee a good display of wild flowers.

Please inform us of early or late arrivals and departures, we will do our best to meet your needs accordingly.
Prices are based on twin occupancy of rooms and are subject to change. Single room supplements may apply.
No television in the units as the country feel is kept throughout.
No plug points in bedrooms; NO HAIRDRYERS. Our extremely sensitive Solar- & Wind Powered system can very easily and irreparably be damaged by the unsupervised use of high voltage appliances/devices like a hairdryer.
This is a self-catering facility: the Units are not serviced during your stay. Daily cleaning services for the Farmhouse and Cottage no. 2 (only the kitchen) are available at an additional fee, please enquire at reception.
Guests are encouraged to relax and enjoy the laid-back farm atmosphere – you will find an informal down-to-earth approach throughout your stay.
Children of all ages are welcome on the farm. We will gladly welcome our young guests at the various operations of the day-to-day living on a Hantam Karoo farm.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times, especially at the river and the duck pond, and around the farm animals.
Parents are responsible for their children, and will be held liable for their children’s actions.
Due to resident dogs and various other farm animals, regrettably no pets are allowed on the premises.
6.2 Guests are welcome to enjoy hiking and mountain-biking on the farm. With gates, please follow farm protocol: leave gates the way you find them (open or closed).
6.3 Please respect our wildlife and flora. Hunting strongly prohibited.
6.4 We operate a non-smoking policy throughout all our units. For the comfort of others, please respect this.
6.5 The guest will make good any damages or loss caused by himself or his party and this will be charged to the final account to be paid on departure.
6.6 Guests enter the farm at their own risk.
6.7 Right of admission is reserved.
